Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy launches its 2014/15 brochure

23rd July, 2014

The Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Programme came into existence in 2013 as a result of a Catalyst grant from Arts Council England and as part of their ‘Transforming Arts Fundraising’ programme. The aim of the programme is to improve the perceptions of the arts as a charitable cause and enhance fundraising practice, encouraging leadership and entrepreneurialism. Working with trustees, leaders, senior managers and emerging talent, the programme’s ambition is that it will inspire, train and develop people at all levels, helping to achieve a networked, skilled and resilient arts workforce.

The Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy’s programme of training and events for 2014-15 offers a wide range of opportunities for people working in the arts at all stages of their career, across different kinds of organisations. The opportunities will help arts professionals and organisations to achieve their fundraising goals.

"The course was informative, enjoyable, covering plenty of ground in just one day without feeling rushed at all. It came at a crucial time in our planning and thinking as a development team and was a very welcome pause for thought. Michelle was a brilliant facilitator and it was a real benefit to hear about her experiences across the sector."
