Trustee Leadership Programme – New Dates Announced for 2019!

10th December, 2018

With 2018 coming to an end, we have been reflecting on another very successful year for the Trustee Leadership Programme and are thrilled to announce new dates for 2019!

Created and delivered by Cause4 in partnership with Close Brothers Asset Management and the Clothworkers’ Company, the Trustee Leadership Programme is an enriching career development opportunity that covers the key responsibilities of Trustees, governance and strategic planning, charity finance and fundraising.

Since its launch in 2014 the programme has gone from strength to strength, and we are now training over 500 participants each year and matching them with charities in need of new Trustees - with over 85% rating the programme as very good or excellent.

It’s a brilliant programme and beneficial to all those who do not work in the charity sector to understand their role and responsibilities.

Jessica R, ERM

In 2018 alone, we delivered five training programmes across Bristol, Manchester, London and Glasgow and launched our first ever Alumni event, where we invited an esteemed guest panel to discuss the topic - Myth busting for smaller charities: ethical investing and financial management.

“10/10 because there is not a 10+!”

Cristiane S, ViiV Healthcare

November 2018 also saw the return of our Emerging Chairs Programme. A tailor-made course that helps existing Trustees take the next step in their personal and professional development, developing the skills and knowledge needed to become Chair of a Board of Trustees.

Following a fantastic year and successful programme to date, Cause4 is proud to announce that the tickets for the Trustee Leadership Programme Spring 2019 are now available!
