For four years a discussion paper has circulated within Cause4 that grapples with how best to serve charities forged in tragedy. We’ve publishing a distilled version of this analysis to shed light on a collection of charities (who are strangers to each other) which we consider rather special for society for their compelling messages but also their extra vulnerability.
Over the last five years, Lloyds Bank has published some research on the digital capabilities of UK SMEs and charities. Their findings for 2018 can be found in the UK Business Digital and Charity Index and make for some very interesting reading.

With the news that Art Fund is disbanding its volunteer programme, many have questioned the value of volunteer programmes. However, at Cause4 we see the real value in volunteer support, for individuals and companies and we’re scratching our heads as to why the Art Fund would make such a move.
