Inspiring new trustees across the UK

In line with Cause4’s dedication to training and life-long learning, we work in partnership with Close Brothers Asset Management and the Clothworker’s Company to deliver the national Trustee Leadership Programme (TLP) training over 500 Trustees and Chairs each year and matching them with charities seeking support.

This enriching career development opportunity is offered in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester, and covers the key responsibilities of Trustees and other regulatory issues, giving participants the skills and confidence that they need to become a Trustee. We also run it in-house for Companies and Charities looking to develop their staff.

Let's achieve success together

If you’d like to contact one of our team please spend one minute to answer a few quick questions so we can make sure we put you in touch with the right person.

The programme was set up in 2014 as a response to the shortage of young and diverse charity Trustees and the overall lack of support provided to Trustees across the country.

At the end of the programme, Close Brothers and Cause4 offer a unique matching service, so that participants meet charities and arts organisations seeking new Trustees. Participants can also receive accreditation from the Institute of Leadership Management for attendance and will be provided with access to further e-learning content to embed learning and keep their skills up to date.
